| How To Join Troop 7
Joining Requirements: At your first troop meeting, your Scoutmaster will explain the joining requirements of the Boy Scouts of America. Attend 3 Meetings: Complete an Application: Complete a Medical Form: Dues: The dues are payable in February of each year and may be paid as a lump sum or in installments. The registration fee is $14 per Scout Also, when you join, it will cost you $15.00 for certain uniform parts. (see Troop 7 Uniform.) Neckerchef When a Scout attains the rank of first class they will get their new embroidered Neckerchef (traded for the plain one) and they will receive the 85 year anniversary pin that Peter Lewis donated to the Troop. When we go camping you will need to help with your share of food expenses, and sometimes there are other odd fees, gas for transportation, snack money, etc. Also your Patrol may collect dues for its own needs. Earning the Scout Badge:
When you have completed these, welcome! You are a Scout! |
